Revenue Cycle Specialist
Are you ready to join a winning team? Simplify ASC is growing and looking to add a Revenue Cycle Specialist. We are seeking a qualified individual to assist the Revenue Cycle Management department. Responsibilities:
- Track and resolve outstanding denials and payment issues, including make daily calls and research account issues
- Assist billing clients with billing questions and insurance questions as necessary
- Appropriately document all correspondence with clients and third-party insurances
- Work denials received from insurance companies
- File appeals, update status, complete all steps to resolve denials, and complete associated paperwork
- Monitor / review payments posted for accuracy
- Handle assigned tasks
- Review EOBs – issue appeals / submit corrected claims
- Effectively navigate billing clients EMR system to pull notes, medical records and other information to send as requested by outside parties
- Correspond consistently and professionally with billing clients
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Healthcare administration or 3-5 years related experience
- Experience with insurance portals and claims research
- Skilled in Medical Terminology, CPT-4 and ICD-10 coding
- Working knowledge in Medicare, Commercial, and insurance regulations and policies
- Understanding of EOB’s and Remittance codes
- Use of Vision or HST preferred but not required
